Data Feed Services – 100% Accurate Product Data

We pride ourselves on our 100% accurate and complete databases, which make the PrismaStar Selector successful for any e-commerce business. You can provide us with as little or as much data as you have and we’ll augment and enrich that data to provide 100% complete product attributes and values. The format in which you provide your data is up to you! Whether it’s CSV, XML, TXT or XLS files – we can optimise your data before feeding it into your Selector.

The PrismaStar Selector can be implemented on any e-commerce site with just two lines of code. We simply import your available products, enhance this information with our own structured data to ensure completeness and accuracy, and present your product catalogue in our patented PrismaStar Selector interface.

Digital Normalisation Application (DNA)

We’ve solved the problem of incomplete product data. When we first put the PrismaStar Selector together we were amazed by the poor quality of product data out there – even data taken directly from manufacturers.

At PrismaStar we’ve dedicated around 75% of our development resources to solving this data issue with our proprietary Data Normalisation Application (DNA), which means we are able to take incomplete data from a customer and give them back 100% accurate structured data feeds.

PrismaStar processes your feed using its proprietary DNA system and enhances your data with other meta information about each product.

State-of-the-Art Data Provision

PrismaStar is about more than just a front-end selection tool. No product search and selection tool can work without accurate and structured data; 75% of our engineering efforts to date have been around data capture, cleansing and distribution.

Our DNA system takes existing incomplete data from a merchant and automatically cleans and augments it, and then supplies it back to the merchant. We take data in any format and any state of completion (typically less than 20%) and convert it into XML feeds with 100% “fill rates” (i.e. every product attribute has a value).

We use our cleansed and structured data not only for our Selectors but also provide it independently to any customer who needs concise and accurate product specification data.

Our Data Feed Services are available with the Selector or can be purchased as a standalone service. We are flexible based on your data needs; we can provide one-off data dumps or regular (up to every hour) data feeds.
